Rino earned his Black Belt in Judo where he continued as a trainer and referee until he left at the age of 36 for the want of another martial art system. This is when he began training in Full Contact/Street Fighting for the next 5 years where he became a top instructor and trained others for three years.

Rino has always researched and found the best systems and instructors available, especially in the Chinese arts where he was an instructor of Tai Qi Quan and Qi Gong, Yang style (24 Bejin’ position). This study helped him when it came to the art of Wing Chun. Which fortunately made it possible to uncover many unscrupulous Sifus in the art. Of which he admits “some more stupid than others.” This is the main reason he has changed Wing Chun organizations a few times. In his words, “I think that the problem is that I am also a little crazy, but not stupid.” He started in the Wing Tsun system in 1992 of which he became an instructor. He then changed to the Lok Yu system of Wing Chun where he became a chief instructor. Next he rolled into the Close Range Combat Academy in 1997.

While on a trip to Hong Kong he asked his Chinese friend about good Wing Chun schools. His friend talked highly about Grandmaster Ip Ching, the son of Grandmaster Ip Man. He was shocked to find out that Ip Ching had an Organization. He began the research that finally landed with the meeting of Sifu Ron Heimberger. Rino states “Sifu Ron Heimberger is really a good Sifu and a right man, (and he is crazier than me! I like him!!) Rino started his new life with Master Ron Heimberger in the Authentic Ip Man system. After many considerations he decided to continue his life in Wing Chun with Master Ron Heimberger and the Authentic Ip Man system. Now after all these years Sifu Rino states “I can now see the dreams of a skinny kid that began his fight against his fears—fighting against a mirror looking for his own way now becoming reality. I hope my experience will be useful to anyone who runs across Wing Chun as taught by Grandmaster Ip Man.”

Ho iniziato i miei studi delle Arti Marziali all’età di 13 anni con lo Judo.
Per mia grande fortuna ho sempre avuto tanto tempo libero perché  il mio lavoro mi impegnava solo al mattino ed il resto del giorno mi potevo allenare.
Cintura Nera di Judo: Cintura Nera, allenatore ed arbitro.
Lasciai lo Judo a 36 anni per continuare i miei studi nella difesa personale.
Cintura Nera di Full Contact o Kick Boxing: Ho studiato Full Contact/combattimento da strada per 5 anni. Lo Insegnai per 3 anni.
Istruttore di Tai Qi Quan e Qi Gong: Ho studiato ed insegnato il Tai Qi Quan stile Yang (le 24 posizioni di Pechino) e Qi Gong (che ancora pratico con il Wing Chun).
Nel corso dei miei studi nel Wing Chun mi sono allenato ed ho cercato solo i migliori Maestri ed allenatori (che riuscivo a contattare) che mi hanno portato ad capire ed interpretare il Wing Chun, però studiando il Wing Chun ho conosciuto diversi pazzi e molti Maestri pazzi (qualcuno è più stupido che pazzo) per questo che ho cambiato diverse Associazioni. Penso che il problema sia che anch’io sono pazzo, ma non stupido
Istruttore di Wing Tsun ed Escrima nel Leung Ting’s System: Continuai i miei studi sulla difesa personale conoscendo il Wing Chun o meglio il Wing Tsun, (Leung Ting’s System) ed Escrima diventandone Istruttore.
Istruttore nel Lok Yu’s System: Per allargare le mie conoscenze nel Wing Chun cambiai Organizzazione entrando nel Lok Yu.’s System.
Istruttore in Close Range Combat Academy: Passai dopo qualche anno nella Close Range Combat Academy di Randy Williams.
Quando andai ad Hong Kong, parlando con un amico cinese chiesi  informazioni sulle varie scuole venni a conoscenza che anche Ip Ching, il figlio di Ip Man (il GranMaster Ip man) aveva una scuola feci delle ricerche e contattai sifu Ron Heimberger. Penso che sia veramente un ottimo sifu e un uomo corretto (ed è matto come me: questo mi piace )
Dopo varie considerazioni  ho deciso di continuare la mia Vita nel Wing Chun con sifu Ron Heimberger  ed l’Autentico sistema di  Si-Jo Ip Man.
Ora vedo realizzati e concretizzati  i sogni di un bambino tutto pelle ed ossa che iniziò a lottare contro le paure e le prepotenze  lottando davanti ad uno specchio alla ricerca della sua Via.
Spero che la mia esperienza possa servire a coloro che incontrando il Wing Chun lo desiderino imparare così come GranMaster Ip Man lo insegnava.Return to Instructor List

Antonio considers himself lucky because his father always searched out the best arts and instructors and has always brought Antonio along with him in his quest, and eventually became his father’s assistant in every discipline he taught.

It was for this reason that after the practice of Judo, Karate, Full Contact, Tai Qi Quan, and Ninjitsu to round out his learning endeavors. He then became the youngest Italian Instructor of the Wing Tsun system at the age of fifteen. His studies are now exclusively in the Wing Chun system of the Wing Chun Kung Fu Council.

Iniziai i miei studi delle arti marziali all’età di sette anni, seguendo mio padre e praticando lo Judo.
Le palestre furono la mia seconda casa e seconda Famiglia dal momento che mio padre ed io non perdevamo occasione per correre in palestra ad allenarci.
La mia fortuna è stata che mio padre si è sempre dedicato alla ricerca dei migliori praticanti delle varie discipline e mi ha sempre portato con sé. Sono stato il suo assistente in ogni disciplina da lui insegnata.
Per questo dopo avere praticato Judo, Karate, Full Contact, Tai Qi Quan, a 15 anni divenni il più giovane Istruttore italiano di Wing Tsun.
Continuai a studiare tutti i vari sistemi di Wing Chun che mi si presentavano e cercavo di capire ed interpretare i vari movimenti.  Studiai per qualche tempo anche il Ninjiustu per avere una visione più completa delle/nelle  Arti Marziali. Return to Instructor List
