Matthew
Spaulding
is a certified instructor in the Wing Chun Kung Fu Council. Now residing
in Moscow, Matthew speaks fluent Russian, and loves the culture and people
of Russia. He has been involved in several non-profit and humanitarian
organizations to lend aid to orphans and other needy people in Russia. His
hobbies involve reading, language study, sports, camping, and all outdoor
activities.
Matthew was blessed to find the Wing Chun Kung Fu Council in 1994 in Orem,
Utah. He attributes much of the direction which he has received in his
life to being introduced to and taught by Master Ron Heimberger. He feels
that the principles taught by Master Heimberger have been among the most
valued concepts that he has learned in his life.
Gau Lin Matthew taught for several years at the Orem, Utah branch of the
WCKFC, beginning in 1998. Currently, Matthew is a United States Diplomat
working in the U.S. Embassy in Moscow, Russia. He had the privilege of
opening the first WCKFC School in all of Russia, at the U.S. Embassy,
where he now teaches regular classes.Return to Instructor
