Jason Solis was born on January 12, 1984 in McAllen, TX. He currently resides in Mission, TX.  Since the age of 4 Jason has been actively engaged in pursuing  martial arts.  He studied Jeet Kune Do concepts, Boxing,
Wrestling, Poi Chan's Wa Lum Kung Fu, Tae Kwon Do and a variety of others.

After being disappointed time after time with the powerless techniques being taught, he  finally gave up.  He complained that there was no real application in combat or in life with these arts. Frustrated due to its ineffectiveness and thousands of dollars wasted, Jason said "I  finally gave up on them and decided to engage myself in compiling the " good" of these arts and leave the rest.  I finally decided
in my mind that all martial arts had no actual combat application and were useless--except for a good work out."

Jason says, "A good friend, David Smith, introduced me  to Wing Chun and ultimately to Master Ron Heimberger. Since then I have completely changed my view points on fighting and living--through the teachings of Master Heimberger.  I have spent all my time and efforts in expanding my knowledge of Wing Chun. Flying to Utah from Texas three to four times a year, it is how I continue my progression in Wing Chun. I consider it a special honor to know that Master Ron Heimberger ( my Sifu ) is my personal instructor finishing my Siu Lim Tao, teaching me Chum Kiu, and Biu Gee.  Being a personal student of Sifu has enlightened my mind to new bounds and has brought a whole new happiness to my being."

The Texas School under Jason Solis has conducted seminars in Texas as well. Master Heimberger traveled to Texas and conducted a seminar at a prestigious work out
center " Cornerstone Fitness Center".  The most recent and future seminars are held at the new Wing Chun Kung Fu Academy in Texas.  The attendance includes Mission SWAT Team, Mission Police Dept.  County Sheriff Deputies, practitioners of other martial arts, and the students of the Academy.  The seminar was a great success and the students loved it.  One saying that Jason particularly likes was told to him by Master Heimberger, " Trying--what's trying? Either your doing Wing Chun or your not--so do it!"

Sergio Solis was born on July 11, 1979 in San Diego,
California and moved to Texas at a young age where he has lived ever since. He has always been interested in fighting mainly because of necessity growing up. He tried for as long as he can remember to find an organized system of fighting that would provide an advantage and an edge in street confrontations. After trying Karate, Tae Kwon Do, and Wa Lum Kung Fu under the Poi Chan lineage he came to the mistaken conclusion that all martial arts were in fact worthless. From that point on he relied on street fighting, some grappling and plain brute force to help me win in various fights. He even made it a point to challenge those who practiced so-called martial arts in an attempt to humiliate them and let them know that they were wasting there time. In one such attempt he made the mistake of challenging a student from the Wing Chun Kung Fu Council in an attempt to disprove his art. Sergio said "It was however me that was disproven, three times." Since that time he has been a loyal follower and student of Wing Chun through the council. Sergio adds, "I was blown away and still am by the simplicity and effectiveness that it brings to fighting and to life. The study of Wing Chun has now become a life pursuit for me and I am honored to be able to study it under Master Ron Heimberger and to have been able to assist in seminars under his guidance. I am grateful to be his personal student and for his personal help in the establishing of the first Wing Chun School in Texas.
