THE SCOPE

The following information is intended to answer typical questions for the prospective Camp Student.

COST, DATES & TIMES

$470.00 Non-WCKFC/VTICAA Student*
$235.00 WCKFC/VTICAA Student*

*Price includes 3 meals per day.

A 50% deposit must be paid with the registration no later than July 15^th. The balance must be paid on or before August 1^st. If accepted, deposits are non-refundable. All checks must be made payable to Carlos Colorado. There is a limited enrollment and all registration forms will be processed on a first-come-first-served basis.

Martial art practitioners of any style and level may apply. No designation of rank is worn by students during the course.

If there is a problem with these terms please contact Carlos Colorado to make arrangements that will work for you.

Those who will be flying in will be arriving at the Salt Lake International Airport. Transportation from the Airport to the campsite can be arranged by contacting the WCKFC in advanced.

Students should check in before Midnight Thursday night (9th), no later than 7am on Friday the 10^th. Camp training begins 7 o'clock am Friday the 10^th of August and continues through Saturday evening, the 11^th of August.

Orientation will commence at 6am on the first day of training.

SUPPLIES REQUIRED

Sleeping Bag
Tent
Minimum 2 gallons of drinking water per person
Ace Bandage
Food for Thursday evening
Jacket (it might get cold at night) and/or Rain Poncho
Change of clothes including shoes

SUPPLIES RECOMMENDED

Cooler
Chair
Bug Spray
Lip balm and Sunscreen
Snacks and Other drinks
Personal grooming items
Two pairs of tennis shoes or boots (or other shoes suitable for martial arts, fighting and mountains)
Flashlight or lantern
Spending Money

This camp will be held in the mountains 45 minutes from the city, there are no convenience stores.

SUPPLIED BY THE COUNCIL

Eating Utensils (Bowl, plate, fork, knife, spoon)
Toilet tissue
Three meals per day are supplied at no extra charge
Camp T-Shirt
Certificate (for those successfully completing the camp training)

OPTIONAL MERCHANDIZE AVAILABLE

The WCKFC has many items available (see the SUPPLIES section of the webpage), some of which will be available at camp. However, items unique or pertaining to the Summer Camp are listed below.

Magazines featuring articles written by Master Ron Heimberger and other Certified Instructors (there will be time for autographs)	$5.00

Extra Camp T-Shirts (One shirt is included with Summer Camp fee)	$18.00
Summer Camp 2007 Picture CD (last year, there were over 560 pictures in the CD. A great way to preserve these memories)	$18.00*

*These items will be prepared after the conclusion of the Camp. They will be shipped to you. No shipping charges will be added (WCKFC may send the items to the different schools for distribution).

IMPORTANT NOTICE

If you need a sleeping bag, tent, or other supplies, please make arrangements at the time that you submit your registration form. Contact Carlos Colorado personally, so we can make arrangements that will work for you.
