This hanging design was conceived by Ip Man after
moving to Hong Kong, for there was no room for burying the type he had in
Fo-Shan. These handmade Wooden Dummies are precisely made to Ip Man's
standards of correct angles to help correct your Wing Chun techniques
while working-out with it. These dummies are hand made by master craftsmen
and is approved by Wing Chun Master Ron Heimberger, personal student of
Grandmaster Ip Ching, for use as the official training dummy of the Wing
Chun Kung Fu Council. The jong itself is made of lodge pole, the
arms, leg and supports are made of oak, and is guaranteed not to break
under normal use. Be advised that wooden dummies are made to order,
please expect 8-12 weeks for delivery.

Measuring 108
inches long (9 feet exactly) these poles must be skillfully made by hand
since they cannot be turned on a lathe. Because of this fact finding
quality long poles is not an easy feat. Our Long poles are made
exclusively for the Council by Carlos Colorado made precisely to the
dimensions given to him by Grandmaster Ip Ching. Working with a long pole
ingrains principles of leverage during empty hand combat, builds external
